Quick Turnaround Time
With most, if not all, time-consuming machining eliminated, Dangios turnaround time can be as much as a third faster than conventional machined molds. The time saved could mean getting ahead of the competition, satisfying customer needs better or maximizing profitability.
Large Savings
Savings of as much as 30% over traditional, fully machined molds are quite common with Dangios cast-to-size cavities and cores. This is because hours of tedious machining and EDMing are eliminated. The savings are even greater when multiple cavities and cores are needed.
Size Does Matter
Dangios can provide a variety or tools and inserts that range in size from one pound to 1,500 pounds.
Long-lasting Material Dangios’ cast-to-size molds are actually capable of producing more parts than conventional molds for two reasons: cast alloys have a denser surface and greater wear resistance than wrought alloys. Also, the grain structure of the metal in Dangios cast molds aligns itself along the contours of the mold, exhibiting greater strength over the straight grain patterns in machined metal molds.
